Coaching Programmes

We provide a wide variety of coaching programmes designed for all levels of experience and knowledge.

Why invest in a coaching programme?

The easy answer is to say that it will enable you to be a safe, professional, ethical, effective coach. From the Coaching for Leaders programme, through our Certificate in Performance Development Coaching to the Diploma in Performance Development Coaching we provide a pathway for individuals to develop themselves in this area. To know why this is such a valuable skill for anyone to develop it is worth considering what the impact of coaching can be.

The answer for everyone will be different! Coaching is a one-to one activity that really focuses on what the coachee is aiming to achieve. It differs from a training course because it responds absolutely to their needs and their situation. Coaching achieves a level of understanding that enables the coachee to achieve significant, and often transformational, shifts in performance. Even more importantly these performance shifts are sustainable.

It can work in almost any area of life and, although most often focused on what is happening at work or in a person’s career, it can work equally effectively with a person’s life outside work. The two worlds are not that separate! Feeling positive and motivated in one can enable increased performance in the other. Some examples of recent areas in which we have supported people are:

  • Increasing confidence when dealing with more senior people or large groups
  • Applying for a promotion
  • Dealing with a difficult colleague
  • Handling underperformance in a team
  • Getting more from the time spent at work and releasing time for other things
  • Becoming more effective at delegation
  • Inspiring a team to meet a challenge

The benefits of all of these are potentially enormous for the individual, their teams and their organisations. At The Beech Consultancy we have been privileged to work with many people over the last few years who have benefited from coaching. We know, from hard evidence from our clients that it does really work.

Being able to use coaching to support others in their life and work is a hugely valuable and valued skill. Some choose to use it within their role as a manager or leader; others go on to become professional coaches. What is fascinating is to hear how people report on what they have gained from being on one of our programmes. They do become safe, professional, ethical and effective coaches – but they also experience a huge growth in their own self awareness and this so often leads to dramatic changes in the performance of the coach. Last but by no means least – they really enjoy the programmes!
