Police Sector

The Beech Consultancy has worked with the Police Sector for the last seven years. During this time the organisation has worked closely with police organisations (forces and authorities) across the UK.

The current climate has had an enourmous effect on the Police sector.  Budgets need to be reduced year on year while the public are highly concerned that this will affect the services offered by the Police and the subsequent security of their families and property.

It is vital that the Police sector responds to these new cuts in a way that satisfies the need to save costs whist maintaining the public confidence.

Our work with the Police sector has been ongoing noe for nearly four years.  It has involved individual interventions in specific teams as well as whole organisation cultural change.  The results or our work together have been inpactful financially and in cultural terms where we have been keen to support an increased ability to work in collaboration and partnership to drive value to the communities that police organisations support.

Our key focus during 2011/12 is on enabling change and transition to occur in a way which continues to support reduced targeted crime in communities and increased public confidence.

Our case study with Lincolnshire Police is a great example of our work in action.  In fact Lincolnshire Police recently nominated us for an Institute of Consulting award where we were delighted to win the Consultancy Practice of the Year Award (under 30 employees)!

We are keen to further develop relationships with other police organisations as we firmly believe that supporting performance development in this sector is a way for us to take responsibility for the lives and futures of our families and friends.

We are confident that most of the police organisations that we have been in contact with are up for the challenge of changing the way that they do business and are attracted to the strong values and drive that takes most people into police organisations.
